Coalporters bar and hall is a great venue for all sorts of events, from small conferences and training sessions to birthday, weddings and anniversary parties!

The newly refurbished venue is part of the oldest rowing club in Southampton,  we are situated adjacent to the River Itchen and within walking distance of the city centre. The venue has ample parking and can accommodate up to 100 people for conferences,  sit-down meals or buffets. 

The hall has a private and reasonably priced bar and the venue was completely renovated in 2022 offering an inviting, modern, clean and contemporary backdrop for any occasion.

For events we also have an overhead projector and fixed screen, useful for conferences, training and sharing special memories. (Please note: An extra charge may apply for the hire of the AV equipment.)

Because of the ample space there is room for a disco or live band and if on a budget,  our very own sound system can be connected to most portable music system like an iPod or phone in accordance with music and dancing license granted by Southampton City Council.

The hall has easy access and is on the ground floor. It can been used for any special occasion from birthdays and anniversary parties to wedding receptions, private fitness classes training sessions to small conferences.
